DRG Rock Star S508 is a powerful made calving ease bull, with great numbers across the board. His direct calving ease, weaning and yearling EPDs and All Purpose Index (API) rank in the top 15% of the Simmental breed, while his birthweight EPD is in the top 20%. He ranked above average for tenderness, fat thickness and marbling score on the Igenity Profile. If you want a good all around sire, that does almost everything right, don't overlook "Rock Star" on March 21st.

His dam is also sired by GW Lucky Break 047G, so this calf is heavily line bred, with Leachman Lucky Buck and Circle S Leachman 600U breeding showing up several times in his pedigree. An animal science professor, who taught one of my classes in college, used to say that "Line Breeding" only magnifies what is there, genetically. good or bad. Well the good definitely shows thru on DRG Fancy Shooter S07.
